Canadians are coming together to stop the spread of COVID-19. All levels of government continue to implement measures to keep Canadians safe. Our front-line health care providers are working around the clock to ensure Canadians have access to the care they need. And our communities are coming together to support our most vulnerable citizens.
Do your part to keep yourself and others safe by:
Washing your hands thoroughly and frequently
Avoiding touching your face
Covering your cough and sneezing into your elbow
Cleaning high-touch objects and surfaces often (phones, door handles, etc.)
Limiting your contact with groups and continuing to practice physical distancing
Wearing a non-medical mask when physical distancing is not possible or is unpredictable
If you or someone in your household start displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (the most common are cough, fever and difficulty breathing) or suspect you may have come in contact with someone displaying symptoms, you should self-isolate immediately and contact your health care provider or local public health authority to determine your next steps. DO NOT visit a clinic or hospital without calling first.
