Canadians are coming together to help #FlattenTheCurve and stop the spread of COVID-19. All levels of government are moving quickly to implement measures to keep Canadians safe. Our front-line health care providers are working around the clock to ensure Canadians have access to the care they need. And our communities are coming together to support our most vulnerable citizens in this time of uncertainty.
You can do your part to keep yourself and others safe by:
Washing your hands thoroughly and frequently
Avoiding touching your face
Covering your cough and sneezing into your elbow
Cleaning high-touch objects and surfaces often (phones, door handles, etc.)
Most importantly, STAYING HOME and limiting your contact with others. If you must go out for groceries or essentials, avoid peak hours and try to keep two metres away from others. Remember to take care of your emotional health and keep connected with your loved ones virtually.
If you or someone in your household start displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (the most common are cough, fever and difficulty breathing) or suspect you may have come in contact with someone displaying symptoms, you should self-isolate immediately and contact your health care provider or local public health authority to determine your next steps. DO NOT visit a clinic or hospital without CALLING first.
You can also help #FlattenTheCurve by sharing this campaign with others and encouraging them to follow these public health guidelines.
